MAPS was asked to create a show for the Knox Gallery in Monterey, Massachusetts. This gallery is housed within the original structure of the Monterey Public Library and features a rotating series of artworks from local artists. For our show and performance, we drew inspiration from the way children, and babies in particular, view the world with open eyes, filled with wonder at the world around them. We set out to make artworks in an open-minded spirit of playfulness. Rachel created a series of 60+ black and white paintings and Aaron made 62 short music compositions to accompany.
