MAPS Waiver and Release Policy

MAPS is proud of the artwork prepared by its students and would like to be able to use this artwork in its promotional and marketing materials, including without limitation its brochures, advertisements, newspapers, websites, social media accounts, videos, and other materials and publications in print, audio, online, electronic, and visual media (the “Promotional Materials”)

In exchange for the opportunity for my child to participate in the Workshop, I irrevocably authorize the MAPS Parties to photograph, video, quote, record and interview my child and to use these photographs, videos, quotes, and interviews, as well as the name of my child, in any of the Promotional Materials. I further irrevocably authorize the MAPS Parties to take photographs and videos of any artwork my child produces during the Workshop and to use these photographs and videos in the Promotional Materials.

In addition, I release and hold harmless the MAPS Parties from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality associated with the photographs, videos, quotes, and interviews specified above. I voluntarily waive any right, cause of action, and demand of any kind resulting from the MAPS Parties’ photographs, videos, quotes, and interviews of my child or photographs and videos of my child’s artwork.

I further acknowledge that my child’s participation is voluntary, and I understand that the MAPS Parties will not give me or my child any compensation for using photographs, videos, quotes, or interviews of my child, or photographs or videos of my child’s artwork, in any of the Promotional Materials. By signing this waiver and release, I waive any rights to compensation I or my child may have now or in the future.
