Newcomers Academy

Kindergarten to 12th Grade

Newcomer Academy is a title 1, transitional public school in Allentown, PA for refugee and migrant youths. This school does not have a resident art program (or any extra curricular such as gym, dance, music, art, etc). Since 2018 MAPS has been visiting several times a year to offer art classes. In January 2022 we started developing an entire arts program for grades K-12th grade. We will be consistently working with all grades for the remainder of the 2022 school year as we develop the curriculum for the school! Stay tuned as we upload more and more photos.
