MAPS Art Camp!

Fully funded for current 2nd and 3rd Graders attending NMC!

Dear Wonderful Current 2nd and 3rd grade parents at NMC!

We have recieved an incredibly generous donation to fully fund all of your children in a week of our MAPS art camp!!! We would like to offer this program to all of your kids who are currently in the combined 2nd and 3rd grade class, thanks to the donation, this is completely free of charge for your kids!! Here is info on the camp itself:

Dates: Mon-Fri (8/3, 8/4, 8/5, 8/6, 8/7)

Time: 9am - 3pm

Location: New Marlborough Central School

Ages: PreK - 5th grade. We run this in the style of a “one-room-schoolhouse” with mixed ages, which is so much fun! If you have questions, get in touch!

Every week of camp is totally different! Join us for an art-filled week of camp! We will work in a range of artistic media including painting, drawing, sculpture, music, puppetry and mask-making always keeping our focus on the joys and wonders of the creative process!

We will build each week based on the interests of our students, but we can guarantee lots of play, creative decision making, and experimentation with a variety of interesting materials.

This class is taught by duo Rachel & Aaron, founders of MAPS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to bring art and music education to underserved populations. All of our paid programming, including summer camps, are fundraisers that support our work with underserved communities including refugee, migrant and low-income youths, families, seniors and more.
