About our 8-week program:
Join us in artistic investigation as we learn about various artists and experiment with concepts like color, shape, line and composition. We will utilize and blur the lines between a range of artistic media including painting, drawing, sculpture, music, puppetry and mask-making. Kids will have the opportunity to have unstructured play and art time as they decompress after school, along with structured art instruction as we view and discuss artworks and create out own original masterpieces. We will play, make, create, get messy, and have the best afternoon ever!
This class is taught by duo Rachel & Aaron, founders of MAPS (www.musicartpuppetsound.org), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to bring art and music education to as many kids as possible.
